our stay at consort hotel was pretty good. the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really tasty. the executive suite was comfy and spacious, which was nice. we liked that it was warm and clean, too. free parking was a big plus!
the shower was a bit tricky to turn off and the walls were kinda thin so we heard some noise from other rooms.

Friendly staff but dining needs improvement
I had a one-night stay in an Executive Suite and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and warm, making for a comfortable experience. dinner options were limited and the food quality left much to be desired. A better dining experience would really enhance future stays.

We had a great time exploring the nearby Magna Science Adventure Park, which was only a quick drive away. The hotel was welcoming to our large family and our three dogs, and the beds in our room were remarkably comfortable.
My wife says that the room cleanliness could really improve. It's crucial for families to have cleaner common areas.

A decent option for a passing visit in Rotherham with good value. Check-in was quick, and the receptionist was pleasant. Make sure to bring your own soap, as it's not provided.

missingWrote a review on Jul 12decent sizeample roomdated décor
Bathroom amenities offer a decent size with a bathtub that can accommodate a relaxing soak. The ample room layout provides some comfort for moving about freely, especially with the minimalistic furniture that doesn’t crowd the space.
Unfortunately, the place feels like it could use a solid revamp. the dated décor and mismatched furniture really give off an unwelcoming vibe. Several of the rooms lacked basic sanitation—like the water not draining well in the sink and the dirty towels available upon arrival—making for a less than pleasant welcome. The TV setup also leaves a lot to be desired. most channels seemed off-limits, pushed aside for streaming options instead, which isn’t ideal when you want to unwind after a long day. with limited Wi-Fi range in my room, being unable to connect and watch shows on my device only added to the frustration. Breakfast timing could use an overhaul as well, starting too late for early risers. And let's not forget the noise from nearby events, making it hard to sneak in a peaceful moment.

Couple seeking comfort
I stayed in a Classic Double Room and the bathroom was a good size. The staff were very helpful, even had an ironing board ready when I asked for it-all I can say is, I got the best sleep in months, no noise at all!

The homemade cakes at Poppies Tea Room were proper lush, a must-try! the staff were quite welcoming, adding a warm touch to the stay.
We were given a double when we booked twins, no lifts for my 88-year-old dad, so I ended up on a mattress on the floor—bit grim, but we made do.
